About
I love food–cooking it, researching it, writing about it, and, of course eating it! So much, in fact, that I wrote a
cookbook called What, No Meat? Traditional Italian Cooking the Vegetarian Way. If it piques your interest at all, it’s available in both print and e-book formats at Bedazzled Ink, or from BarnesandNoble.com, and even Amazon.
I also started my own personal chef service (A Whisk In Time) in 2002, which allowed me to explore my love of cooking and share it with others.
I’ve been in the publishing industry for over (gasp!) 20 years. I’ve done editing, production management, desktop layout, and myriad other tasks that are involved in the publishing process.

I just graduated from the Chef Training Program at the Natural Gourmet Institute for Health & Culinary Arts. I won a James Beard Scholarship and had a blast doing my internship at the James Beard House.
I am a member of the New York Women’s Culinary Alliance, Women Chefs & Restaurateurs, Food Bloggers Association, and The International Food Wine and Travel Writers Association (IFWTWA).
